Refund Policy

At Swami Solar, we aim to provide the highest quality solar installation and maintenance services. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our services or products, we are committed to resolving the issue in a fair and timely manner. Please read our refund policy below to understand how we handle refunds and cancellations.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds will only be considered under the following conditions:

1. Installation Services: Refunds for installation services will be considered if the service has been canceled or delayed due to fault on our part.
2. Maintenance Services: If the maintenance services provided were not satisfactory, and we fail to rectify the issues within the agreed timeframe, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund.
3. Defective Products: We will co-ordinate with OEM for Warranty replacement / Repair as per OEM’s warranty terms. OEM’s do not offer a refund once the goods are shipped / installed.

2. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our customer support team at info@swamisolar.com  with the following details:

1. Your full name and contact information.
2. The date of service or purchase.
3. A description of the issue and why you are requesting a refund.
4. Any relevant invoices or receipts.

3. Refund Process

1. Once your refund request is received, our team will review the details and may contact you for additional information.
2. If your refund request is eligible, we will process the refund within 90 business days. Refunds will be credited to the same payment method used for the original transaction.
3. If the refund request is denied, we will explain the reason in writing.

4. Non-Refundable Items

1. Services that have already been completed or partially completed cannot be refunded once they have been executed.
2. Custom solar system designs, special order components, and installations made to specific customer requirements may not be eligible for a refund once the order has been placed or services rendered.
3. Any charges for consultation, site survey, or initial design work that has been completed will not be refundable.

5. Cancellation Policy

1. If you wish to cancel your order or scheduled service, you must notify us at least 7 days business days before the scheduled service. If canceled within the required time frame, we will provide a full refund (excluding any non-refundable charges, if applicable).
2. If you cancel after the agreed-upon service has started or materials have been purchased, a partial refund may be provided, depending on the work completed.

6. Damaged or Defective Equipment

1. If any equipment installed by Swami Solar is found to be defective or damaged during the installation, we will either replace the item or offer a refund depending on the manufacturer’s warranty.
2. All defective products must be reported within 7 Days days from the installation date for a refund or replacement.

7. Processing Fees

1. In some cases, there may be processing or administrative fees that are non-refundable (e.g., shipping costs, special order fees, etc.). These will be clearly stated at the time of purchase or service agreement.

8. Refunds for Subscription or Maintenance Plans

1. For customers on subscription or maintenance plans, refunds are provided on a prorated basis if the plan is canceled early. The refund amount will be calculated based on the remaining time in the plan, minus any applicable cancellation fees.

9. Changes to Refund Policy

Swami Solar reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage customers to review this policy periodically to stay informed.
